What We Domain page
bulletWe gather the prices of every cremation provider and funeral home in the US, so that you can compare your alternatives in advance.
bulletWe credential cremation providers and funeral homes according to strict quality standards and consider the feedback we receive from consumers and end-of-life healthcare professionals about which providers they feel give the highest level of quality compassionate service.
bulletWe created the Premier Provider to recognize the top 10% of all funeral homes and cremation providers in the US based on their overall consumer standards and note them on our site as a Premier Provider.
bulletWhen we encounter a cremation provider or funeral home whose business practices or quality level is questionable or below standards, we place a consumer alert on its profile on our site.
bulletWe established the Funeral Bill of Rights for Consumers. and The Funeralocity Manifesto so families know what they should expect and how they deserve to be treated.
bulletWe created and are always adding to our Knowledge Center which provides a wealth of information on planning a funeral, funeral terminology, the different options for funeral services, how to preplan, and assists with grief resources for dealing with the loss of a loved one.
bulletWe are dedicated to end-of-life healthcare providers and have created a separate Hospice Portal with information tailored to the profession. The continuum of care doesn’t end at hospice care. We believe that it extends to a compassionate and fitting celebration of that person's life.
bulletWe established our Ombudsperson service to help mediate disputes that sometimes arise between families and funeral establishments with whom they have done business. To initiate facilitated dialogue between the family and the funeral provider, either party can click our Ombudsperson button. There is no charge for this service. The process is not one for litigation and is designed to solve issues amicably.
