Wayne Albert's Obituary
We are deeply saddened by the loss of our Father and Grandfather,
Wayne Albert Werner.
Wayne was born in Danvers MN. in 1931 to parents Albert and Magdalene Marquardt Werner. He was the youngest of Seven children.
After graduating high school, Wayne enlisted in the Navy where is spent nearly four years in the Korean War on the ship USS McCaffrey. While on the ship he was a radio operator and toured beautiful countries and met many wonderful people.
He would tell many stories of his years on the ship, reminiscing of his many adventures and fun times he had while traveling across the seas.
After his tour of duty and returning home, Wayne entered college and later married the love of his life Betty Lou in 1955. They had 62 beautiful years of marriage, before Betty's death in 2017…
