About Funeral Home
Ducro Funeral Home at 4524 Elm Ave, Ashtabula has been serving families since 1853. We are the first family of funeral service in Ashtabula County. We are compassionate and caring and offer a variety of services to memorialize your loved one. Whether it is a traditional funeral or a cremation with a memorial service, we can show you many options to make the service for your family member personal in every way.
Our Certified Celebrants, Kathleen Shaffer and Constance Scheanon, will assist you in creating that special service. Our personalized services have included bringing a Harley-Davidson into the chapel, setting up putting greens, and making quilts and travel maps of the vacations the family had taken over the years. Creating a lasting and loving tribute to your family member is our gift to you. We offer photo tribute DVD’s made to bring the legacy of your family to life and touch the hearts of those attending visitation and services.
We have an onsite crematory which means your loved one will never leave our care until you have given us instructions to do so.
Allow us to wrap our arms around you and guide you through the process of memorializing your loved one. We will treat you as a family, because you are.
We have the only privately owned pet crematory in Ashtabula County and understand that the loss of a pet is a difficult time for the family. We offer paw and nose prints, and a clip of fur at no charge and place your pet in a paw print urn to take home.
