Louis Salazar's great-grandfather, Elfego, began serving families in 1918 but it wasn't until 2013 that Louis and Gloria acquired the building and then named it a recognizable provider of legacy funerals. The downtown location has served generations of New Mexican families and continues to be a trusted source for all funerals and life celebrations. The Salazar Life Event Center located at this facility is a reception area that accommodates 100 people for catered events. Also located in the facility is a state-of-the-art crematory which allows families the privilege of witnessing their Loved One's cremation.
