Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home - Douglasville Chapel

I am getting the impression that Willie Watkins Funeral homes provide service based on the amount of resources being purchased from them. Hence the more you pay, the better service may be. I've used them twice over the last two years, and maybe it was based on the two locations. However my experience was more positive based when spending more money on services yet that was pertaining to the location downtown Atlanta. However with utilizing the Douglasville location I found\experience the following. 1.No follow up correspondence or follow up contact regarding any details of processing of deceased family member. 2. Untimely meeting upon initial meet for quotes. 3. Uniformed knowledge of personnel to provide pricing information. The bottom line to this review is I've had a family member/sister in which I had to lay to rest. It has now been two weeks since she passed. I was patient in awaiting the process yet, a this time I must call a second time to find out any details of what is or has taken place. The first time I called which was a week later I was told that the crematory service was backed up, and the person whom processed me is out on leave. (does she have no backup person)? I've had No contact to acknowledge when she has been cremated (it's been two weeks now, I should've heard something). During the initial call I had to query them on specifics such as what it takes to get her listed on their site. Their service is ridiculous! I'll write another review once I make a few more calls and maybe can get some positive results!
