Radney Funeral Home

Radney Funeral Home was founded in 1938 by Mr. William L. Radney, Jr. The funeral home originally operated from the Radney Furniture Company in downtown Alexander City. Later the funeral home was moved to a building on Alabama Street where it remained until the mid 1950's. The current facility was completed in 1953. The funeral home continued to be owned by the Radney Family until May of 2006. The family then elected to transfer ownership of the funeral home to long time employee and manager, Randy Anderson. Many changes in funeral service have occurred since the founding of Radney Funeral Home in 1938. Radney Funeral Home has adapted to these changes to meet the desires of the families that we serve. We view the funeral service as an opportunity to minister to the needs of our community.
