Funeralocity CEO warns of fraud with FEMA funeral reimbursement

RALEIGH, June 17, 2021 – Ed Michael Reggie, founder of Funeralocity.com, shared with Raleigh’s WRAL-TV news insight into FEMA’s funeral reimbursement program, including efforts to stem early fraud that was besieging the effort. Targeting families already dealing with death seems especially cruel, said Ed Michael. “These are people who are grieved, who couldn’t often be at the bedside of the person who passed away,” said Ed Michael.
